Agar which is optimised for use in plant culture. Ideal composition, no insoluble particles and no turbidity with phosphates.

The Agar is processed from selected seaweeds, has a very high gel strength and can be used at low concentrations (0.5-0.6%). It is recommended for micropropagation of ornamental, horticultural and woody species, in-vitro selection, genetic manipulations and other techniques in cultivation of plants.

Application: for cultivation and growth of plant cells

Technical Data: Gelation (1.5 %) >= 1000 g/cm2. Gelling point (1.5 %) 35°C +/- 5°C. Melting point 85 +/- 5°C. pH prior to retorting 7.0 +/- 0.5. pH after retorting 6.5 +/- 0.5. Contamination with spores: negative. No unsoluble particles detectable. No turbidity with phosphates.
