Bovine albumin Fraction V (pH 5.2) 500 g

Standard grade, lyophilised Albumin. Widely used to stabilise proteins in solution. Used concentrations are between 0.01% and 3%. It is also possible to substitute Albumin by Gelatine. High amounts of Albumins are used to block blotting membranes or in ELISA tests to block the walls (see also #M3101). Antisera and antibody stock solutions are diluted with 3% Albumin solution. |
