Macrolide antibiotic from Eupenicillium brefeldianum.

Macrolide antibiotic from Eupenicillium brefeldianum. Inhibits specifically translocation of proteins from the endoplasmatic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus. Stock solutions can be prepared as 1 mg/mL, 2.5 mg/mL or 10 mg/mL. Working concentration is in the range of 0.1 to 10 µg/mL, depending on the object of interest.
