Macrolide antibiotic from Eupenicillium brefeldianum. Inhibits specifically translocation of proteins from the endoplasmatic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus. Stock solutions can be prepared as 1mg/mL, 2.5mg/mL or 1 mg/mL. Working concentration is in the range of 0.1 to 10µg/mL, depending on the object of interest. |
