Recombinant Human Transforming Growth Factor-Beta 1. Synonyms: Transforming growth factor beta-1, TGF-beta-1, CED, DPD1, TGFB. | |
|
Transforming growth factor beta (TGF-beta) mediate many cell-cell interactions that occur during embryonic development. Three TGF-betas have been identified in mammals. TGF-beta 1, TGF-beta 2 and TGF-beta 3 are each synthesized as precursor proteins that are very similar in that each is cleaved to yield a 112 amino acid polypeptide that remains associated with the latent portion of the molecule. TGFB1 Human Recombinant produced in Human 293 cells is a homodimeric polypeptide chain containing 2 x 112 amino acids and having a total molecular mass of 25kDa. Amino acid sequence: ALDTNYCFSS TEKNCCVRQL YIDFRKDLGW KWIHEPKGYH ANFCLGPCPY IWSLDTQYSK VLALYNQHNP GASAAPCCVP QALEPLPIVY YVGRKPKVEQ LSNMIVRSCK CS. The ED50, as measured by the dose-dependent inhibition of IL-4-induced proliferation of mouse HT-2 cells, was found to be 0.126 ng/mL. |
