Recombinant Human IFN-g produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 144 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 16,879 Dalton. The rHuIFN-g is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. The specific activity as determined in a viral resistance assay is around 1 ng/mL, corresponding to a specific activity of 3.0 x 10(7) IU/mg.
