Recombinant Murine IL-1 b produced in E.Coli is a non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 153 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 17,500 Dalton. rHuIL-1b is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. The specific activity as determined in the test of aµgmentation of lymphocyte prolifiration assay using mouse thymus was found to be 6 x 10(8) IU/mg. |
