Band sizes: 8454bp, 7242bp, 6369bp, 5686bp, 4822bp, 4324bp, 3675bp, 2323bp, 1929bp, 1371bp, 1264bp, 702bp, 224bp, 117bp. Comment: The cohesive ends of the 12 bp cos site of bacteriophage lambda from fragments 8453bp and 5687bp may anneal and form an additional band at 14140bp. These fragments can be separated by heating the DNA marker for 5 minutes at 65°C followed by rapid chilling on ice, before loading onto a gel.
