The PSI Clone Big BAC DNA isolation kit provides high quality, high purity Bacterial Artifical DNA. This kit is designed for yields up to 25.0 µg BAC DNA from 50 up to 250 mL LB culture.

The PSI Clone BAC DNA isolation kits utilise an alkaline lysis protocol and a high capacity, highly efficient, hydrophylic non-silica anion exchange resin. No enzyme treatments or organic extractions are required. The purified BAC DNA is of template quality and is suitable for running sequencing reactions and biochemical characterisations, e.g. PCR or restriction digests.
