This Genomic DNA purification kit has been designed for the reproducible extraction of cellular total DNA from Human and Animal blood (250 µL sample volumn). The very low elution volumn of only 20 µL guaranties highly concentrated, pure DNA (A260/A280 = 1.70 – 1.95). The purified DNA is ideally suited for further applications as PCR; Long Rang PCR, restriction digest, Sequencing, DNA fingerprint, etc.. DNA can be purified from different sources: fresh or frozen blood (citrate-, EDTA- or heparin stabilised), plasma, serum, buffy coat, etc.. This kit is suitable for DNA amounts of 5 to 10 µg DNA.
