DNA-methylation analysis of different genes encoding for a broad range of lymphoma, carcinoma and sarcoma cancer.

We use the pyrosequencing method as a gold standard für methylation analysis. Pyrosequencing is an accurate and fast analysis method for quantifying CpG-methylation in epigenetic studies. For being able to get reasonable results in quantitative CpG-methylation assay design is essential. For that reason we can offer predesigned assays for some important (universal) tumor marker genes. CDH1 (E-Cadherin), GSTP1 (Gluthation S-Transferase p1), PTEN (Phosphatase and tensin homolog), MGMT (O-6-Methylguanine-DNA-Methyltransferase), p16 (Cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2A), RASSF1A, (Ras association domain containing Protein 1), SOCS1 (Supressor of cytokin signaling 1). All of these predesigned Assays are available together with our knowledge.
