Dulbecco´s Modified Eagle´s Medium without L-Glutamine, without Phenol red, with sodium pyruvate, with 3.7g/L NaHCO3, with 1.0g/L Glucose, sterile filtered.

Intrinsically developed for the cultivation of murine embryonic cells, DMEM is tailor-made for the cultivation of a braod range of cells, especially if the media is supplemented with FCS. DMEM is an Eagle Medium modification with the four-fold content of amino acids and vitamin. DMEM with 1.0g/L Glucose is the standard media, whereas DMEM with 4.5g/L Glucose is for cells which have a high energy demand.
