Mix for 200 x 25µL reactions (2.5mL). The Genaxxon 2X PCR RedMastermix is a premixed, ready-to-use solution containing Taq DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, MgCl2 and reaction buffers at optimal concentrations for efficient amplification of DNA templates by PCR (one tube, one pipetting step). Just add your primers and template DNA. The PCR RedMastermix has been optimized for use in routine PCR for amplifying DNA template in the range of 0.2-4kb. Additionally the premix contains also an additive and a red-dye for proceeding with electrophoresis after PCR without adding loading buffer. The special formulation of our PCR RedMastermix guarantees you reproducible results even after repeated freezing/thawing steps leading to good yields and sensitivity. The kit is efficient (no left over of reagents), scalable from 10µL to 50µL and stable for 12 months. |

Application: PCR master mix for highly convenient PCR
Unit-definition: One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme which will convert 10 nmoles of dNTPs to an acid-insoluble form in 30 min at 72°C under the assay conditions (25 mM TAPS (tris-(hydroxymethyl)-methyl-amino-propanesulfonic acid, sodium salt) pH 9.3 (25°C); 50 mM KCl; 2 mM MgCl2; 1 mM b-mercaptoethanol; and activated calf thymus DNA as substrate.
