Clasto-Lactacystin beta-lactone 200 µg

Highly specific, cell permeable, and irreversible 20S proteasome inhibitor. It is believed lactacystin acts as a precursor for clasto-lactacystin b-lactone.

About 20-fold more potent than lactacystein. Lactacystin is converted to clasto-lactacystin beta-lactone in culture media and in cells where it covalently binds to catalytic subunits of the proteasome.
