TBS with Tween®20, pH7.6 10 tablets

ready-to-use tablets for preparing 500mL of tris buffered saline buffer (TBS) with 0.05% Tween™20 pH7.6.

TBS Tween™20 is one of the most commonly used biological buffers for plate based immunoassays and Western blotting. It is isotonic, non-toxic to cells and contains a non-ionic detergent. It is used preferably as an antibody diluent and wash reagent in ELISA and Western blotting using alkaline phophatase or peroxidase-conjugated antibodies. TBS-T buffer is supplied in exactly pre-weighed tablets, each tablet giving 500mL of 0.15M NaCl, 0.05% TweenTM 20, 0.050M Tris-HCl buffer solution with pH7.6 at 25°C. Directions for use: Deposit one tablet in a laboratory flask or beaker placed on a magnetic stirrer. Add 200mL of deionized water and stir the solution for a few minutes. Adjust the volume up to 500mL, stir until full dissolution and the buffer is ready to use.
