3-Aminophthalhydrazid - 5-Amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrophthalazin-1,4-dion. Used as classical reagent for generating luminescence.

The optimal concentration for HRP assay is 0.2 mM Luminol, 4 mM 4-Iodophenol and 17. mM H2O2. Luminol should be disolved in 50% DMSO (10 mM = 1.7717 mg/mL). The 'developer' consists of 0.5 mM Luminol, 4 mM Iodophenol and 50 mM Glycin NaOH buffer (pH 9.6). The 'developer' solution can be stored without problems for prolonged periods at RT, but protected from light. H2O2 has to be added each time directly before use (17.6 mM end concentration).
