Protein A affinity purified. Specific for CLIP (17-39 ACTH) and no cross reaction with Synacthen (1-24 ACTH). This antibody reacts with solid phase ACTH either captured as part of a sandwich or adsorbed as a solid phase antigen and as such is suitable for serum assay development. This antibody is also reactive on formalin fixed paraffin wax embedded tissue and is therefore suitable for immuno-cyctochemistry. Antibody shows cross reactivity with Rat C-terminal ACTH. Storage conditions: Lyophilised: store at 4°C. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -20°C.
