TBS with Phenol Red 500 mL - M3086.0500

Package Size: 500 mL TBS is isotonic, non-toxic to cells and suitable for molecular biology. The buffer is commonly used as substance diluent or wash buffer in immunoassays such as ELISA. It is used in immuno-histochemical staining when the background is high and for diluting alkaline phosphatase or peroxidase-conjugated antibodies in Western blotting. Buffer is supplied as a sterile, ready-to-use solution with Phenol Red. pH of the buffer 7.4 +/-0.2. 500mL contain 0.2g/L KCl, 8g/L NaCl, 3g/L Tris, 0.015g/L Phenol Red.
