94,94 EUR

excl. Shipping costs Product No.: M3025.0001

Package Size: 1 mg (ca. 30 U) For efficient cloning experiments, dephosphorylation or phosphorylation of blunt or overhanging 5' ends is essential. For dephosphorylation, the Bacterial Alkaline Phosphatase (BAP) is used. For phosphorylation of oligonucleotides and dephosphorylated DNA or replacement of existing 5'-phosphate with gamma-PO4, T4 Polynucleotide Kinase (PNK) is used.

Application: removal of 5'-phosphate groups from DNA, RNA and ribo-or deoxy-ribonucleoside triphophates.

Source: purified from E.coli strain C4

Technical Data: Activity: min. 30U/mg protein; MW = ca. 80000 g/mol, CAS [9001-78-9], supplied as 2.6 M (NH4)2SO4, pH 8.0 suspension.

Shipping / Storing Information: shipped at RT, store at +2°C to +8°C

Unit Definition: One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme which hydrolyses 1 µmole of 4-nitrophyenylphosphate in 1 minute at 37°C.
