Polycarbonate Capillaries for use in Roche capillary PCR machines

Capillaries for Roche's LightCycler(R) made from polycarbonate with caps made from PP for use in Roche PCR machines.

High precission polycarbonate capillaries that are designed for use in LightCyclers from Roche. Polycarbonate is more stable compared to glass, thus reducing the risk of breakage while handling them. the cap provides a secure seal, minimising the risk of cross contamination. Less risk of injuries. PCR protocols and handling procedures can be transfered without any changes from original Roche applications. PCR shows comparable sensitivity as in glass capillaries. The capillaries can hold reaction volumes from 15 to 50 µL. They are packed in a convenient 96 format, that ensures easy handling. The capillaries are shipped together with tide fitting caps that can be removed after PCR for recovery of PCR products.
