Schneider´s Drosophila Medium ohne L-Glutamin mit 0,4g/L NaHCO3, sterilfiltriert.

Schneider's Drosophila Medium enthält spezielle Komponenten für S2-Zellkulturen, einschließlich Apfelsäure, Fumarsäure, α-Ketoglutarsäure, Bernsteinsäure und Trehalosezucker. Die vollständige Zusammensetzungsliste finden Sie unter Dokumente. Schneider's Drosophila Medium wurde ursprünglich für das Wachstum von S2-Zellen der Taufliege Drosophila melanogaser entwickelt,  kann aber zudem für Kulturen mit anderen Dipteran-Zelllinien verwendet werden. Dieses Medium eignet sich für transiente oder stabile Transfektionen sowie eine Massenherstellung von Proteinen in S2-Zellen.
