Product information "GNX T7 RNA Polymerase - low dsRNA (250U/µL)"
Optimized Enzyme for In Vitro Transcription
GNX T7 RNA polymerase - low dsRNA is a recombinant enzyme expressed in Escherichia coli and is a genetically modified version of the wild-type T7. The mutation significantly reduces the formation of double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) during transcription, making it ideal for applications requiring high RNA purity.
The polymerase synthesizes RNA in the 5'→3' direction using double-stranded DNA containing a T7 promoter sequence as a template. NTPs (ATP, CTP, GTP, UTP) serve as substrates. Both linear DNA with blunt ends or 5' overhangs can be used as templates – making this enzyme compatible with linearized plasmids and PCR products for efficient in vitro transcription.
Key Benefits:
- Engineered for low dsRNA contamination
- Suitable for both short and long RNA transcripts
- Compatible with blunt-end and 5' overhang DNA
- High RNA yields with excellent specificity Ideal for sensitive applications such as in vitro translation, RNAi, and vaccine research
This polymerase is the perfect choice for precise, efficient, and clean RNA synthesis in molecular biology workflows.
