RNase inhibitor (ribonuclease inhibitor / RNasin) is a broad-spectrum inhibitor of RNases that is reversibly inactivated by binding to the inhibitor at a 1: 1 ratio with an association constant greater than 10E14. RNase A / B / C and human placental RNase are inhibited. The RNase can be reactivated from this complex by inactivating the inhibitor with 7M urea or heat (> 65 ° C). In order to get the full inhibiting effect, it is important to have always at least 1mM DTT in the reaction mixture. This RNase inhibitor was purified by ion and affinity chromatography. The RNase inhibitor from human placenta was originally isolated for the reversible inactivation of RNAse H.
The RNase inhibitor offered by Genaxxon does not inhibit the following RNases: RNase T1, S1 nuclease, RNase from Aspergillus, RNase H or RNase ONE ™ ribonuclease.
- Isolated from recombinant source - Broad spectrum of inhibitory properties (RNase A/B/C and human placental RNase) - Does not inhibit RNase T1, S1 nuclease, RNase from Aspergillus, RNase H or RNase ONE™ Ribonuclease. - Compatible with Taq DNA Polymerase, AMV or M-MuLV Reverse Transcriptases - Active over a broad pH range (pH 5-8) - Tested for the absence of DNases and RNases
Technical Data:
