Agarose Tiny is a low melting temperature agarose. It is a molecular biology grade agarose with higher sieving properties and higher clarity than standard melting temperature agarose.
Like the SeaPlaque ™ from Lonza, the Agarose Tiny has a low melting point (<64°C, 3.0% gel) and gel point (<25°C, 3.0% gel) and a low DNA binding capacity. Their use is particularly recommended for preparative DNA and RNA Gel electrophoresis. Additionally its low gelling temperature is ideal for cloning of tissue culture cells and viral plaque assays.
