Product information "Serum Replacement DC"
In contrast to our other serum replacement products, our fully synthetic serum replacement DC only contains chemically defined components (for difference to other Genaxxon serum replacement products, see table below). Our Serum Replacement DC contains recombinant proteins, lipids, salts, amino acids, trace elements, hormones and a special substrate release system for an optimized formulation. It contains no growth factors, nor undefined hydrolysates or peptones.
All ingredients are defined components of non-animal origin. This means that there are no problems with BSE / TSE or virus contamination.
The supplement is suitable for use with adherent and non-adherent cells. The defined and reproducible composition means that there is no need for time-consuming batch tests or batch reservations for our customers. At the same time there are no short-term price fluctuations as with "normal" fetal bovine serum.

Unser Serum Replacement NTA Medium enthält gereinigte Proteine (<2% w/v), Lipide, Salze, Aminosäuren, Spurenelemente, Hormone und Spuren tierischer Bestandteile (<2% w/v). Das Medium enthält keine Wachstumsfaktoren oder nicht definierte Hydrolysate, bzw. Peptone. Unterschied zu anderen Genaxxon Serum-Replacement-Produkten siehe in Tabelle unten. Alle enthaltenen Bestandteile sind ausschließlich definierte Komponenten Ursprungs. Damit gibt es keine Probleme mit BSE/TSE oder Virenverunreinigungen. Serum Replacement NTA ist speziell für die Anwendung adherenter Zellen unter serumfreien Bedingungen optimiert und kann in der Standardkonzentration von 10% in der Zellkultur verwendet werden.
