The Genaxxon qPCR adhesive seals are made of a optically clear adhesive film, with a pressure activated clue. The film is peelable and thus perfectly suitable for qPCR and other imaging techniques including crystallization applications. This semi-skirted low profile plate is recommended for ABi™ Fast Block thermal cyclers. Low profile plates have shorter wells than standard profile plates, decreasing the "dead space" between the heated lid of the thermal cycler and the sample. This eliminates any chance of condensation forming on the side walls of the tubes, both preventing a reduction in PCR volume, and increasing the efficiency of the reaction. O-rings of these caps are manufactured from autoclavable ethylene-propylene that forms a perfect seal against the rim of each tube. Cryogenic storage boxes made of extra strong polycarbonate for ultra-low temperature storage. Fits into standard racks for freezers thanks to the 133x133 mm standard footprint.
