High-Performance Isothermal Polymerase with Reverse Transcriptase for RNA and DNA Amplification
The FAST Bst Polymerase RT Mix from Genaxxon is a ready-to-use blend of powerful DNA polymerase and thermostable reverse transcriptase with RNase inhibitor. The recombinant polymerase from Geobacillus stearothermophilus exhibits strong strand-displacement activity and 5′→3′ polymerase activity without 5′→3′ exonuclease activity.
The included reverse transcriptase enables simultaneous reverse transcription and amplification of RNA templates, making the mix ideal for RT-LAMP applications.
The mix is robust, highly tolerant to inhibitors, and supports fast, reliable amplification at constant temperatures.
One-Step RT-LAMP and Rapid Amplification
The FAST Bst Polymerase RT Mix allows simultaneous reverse transcription and DNA amplification in a single step. Thanks to the stable enzymes, the reaction setup can be performed at room temperature, reducing errors and simplifying RT-LAMP workflows.
Powerful and Flexible Reaction
- Optimal activity at 65 °C, reliable in the range of 55–70 °C
- Inactivation possible at temperatures above 80 °C
